This photo shows the Kyosho Concept 30 Jet Ranger. Bought it in April 2006, the photo shows the heli as I collected it from the seller. The heli is in great condition and is fitted with the following :

It's a very late Concept 32 VR and although the heli looks fantastic although there is a large cutout on the other side of the fus for the bulky Kyosho silencer. These bodies are hard to come by these days so it's a shame it has the cutout, although it has been done very neatly. Still, I hope you agree it's a great looking model and it's one I will enjoy flying once it's been given it a thorough overhaul.

*** Update May 2006 *** I have sourced two brand new Jet Ranger body sets for this helicopter - great news as they are very rare these days. One is the whole body set NIB, the other is just the front and rear fus sections which will be used to replace the badly trimmed parts that are on the heli and get a proper scale muffler to fit. Don't ask how much the body sets cost. The VISA card melted that day...!  The supplied MDS 38 engine (or paperweight, as I see it) has been replaced with a brand new OS 37 SZ-H.

*** Update April 2009 *** This helicopter suffered a crash after a tail blade fractured at the root and departed the airframe whilst in ground-effect hover. It has been fully rebuilt, now with a host of period upgrades such as a carbon torque tube tail drive. I am waiting on a couple of spares before I will have it flying again.

*** Update December 2009 *** The helicopter is now rebuilt and awaits juts a single component to be ready to fly (tail pitch lever - if anyone has one, please contact me...!) I have also taken the liberty of replacing the original mechanical gyro with a futaba GY401 clone.
