What is Concept WORLD...?
- Concept WORLD was started in early 2007 by me, Rupert Kent. I have had a passion for radio controlled models since I received my first RC car as a gift at the age of five. That's me in the photo above with one of my classic Kyoshos - a Concept 60 Jet Ranger. As I focused my collection of helicopters on the now discontinued Kyosho models, I found there was a need for a web-resource relating to the Concepts and thus Concept WORLD was born. The site has since grown into the most popular Concept dedicated resource on the web.
Where are you based...?
- I am an Englishman living in Switzerland.
I heard you are "The Concept Man" and have a lot of parts. Are they for sale...?
- I do have a large cache of new-old-stock parts that I have collected (in part to keep my own fleet of helicopters flying). Although I do not sell them per-se, if you have a specific request then please contact me and I'll try to help. PLEASE NOTE: Concept WORLD is not a commercial enterprise selling helicopters, parts or accessories. If your enquiry is regarding the sourcing of parts, I may be able to help, but please remember to include the part numbers you are looking for. You can download the manuals from the "Manuals" section on the site (link on left) to find the correct codes. I receive a large number of enquiries through the site and without the codes, I cannot help, sorry.
Do you have any other Kyosho helicopters other than the Concepts...?
- Not at the moment, although I am actively looking for very good condition Convert EX and Phoenix helicopters. I do not collect the Nexus or Caliber series of helicopters.
How much is my Helicopter worth...?
- How long is a piece of string...? I am more than happy to give you an approximate valuation of your Kyosho helicopter. Please contact me through the enquiry form. Please be prepared to send a good description and as many detailed photographs as possible.
Will you buy my helicopter...?
- I am actively looking for the following Concepts NIB (New In Box) : Concept 30 SX, Concept 30 SR, Concept 60. Also I am wanting very good condition Convert EX and Phoenix helicopters. I do not collect the Nexus or Caliber series of helicopters. Please note that NIB (New In Box) means just that - a helicopter that is still in exactly the same form as it came from the factory. Brand new and never assembled. A helicopter that has been assembled (unless it is one of the partially assembled kits) is not NIB...!
I want to buy a helicopter from Concept WORLD...
- Sorry, but My helicopters are not for sale. Try the various helicopter forums as many have classified sections. Alternatively eBay is a good source. As always when buying second hand helicopters or helicopter parts - buyer beware...!
